ABOUT

My name is Arman Mohseni and I'm the Founder of B.C. Poet's Club. I've been an avid reader and writer of poetry for years. After the COVID-19 Pandemic started, I wanted to create a free platform for local poets and poetry enthusiasts to connect, hone their craft, and read some poetry!

We hold weekly sessions on Zoom every Sunday at 8PM PST. During these sessions, we perform a close reading of two poems and workshop a draft. Every week, one group member is selected to bring a draft of poem they are writing to the next session, so that it can be critiqued by the club.

 

Regardless of your background, age, or experience reading and writing poetry, everyone is welcome and encouraged to be a part of our club.
